Supported AI providers

Payani doesn't run its own AI, and nothing you type is ever sent to a Payani server — the assistant is optional, off by default, and connects directly from your device to a provider you choose, using your own API key.

Every link below goes straight to that provider's own official console or docs page for creating a key — never a third-party guide or an affiliate link. Create the key there, then paste it into Payani's Settings. See the privacy policy for exactly what gets sent once you turn the assistant on.

Self-hosted / Custom

For your own server — Ollama, LM Studio, vLLM, or anything else that speaks a compatible API. Point Payani at your server's base URL in Settings; most local setups don't need a key at all.
